Welcome to Legacy Dental of Denton. While our name is new, our roots in this community run deep. Formerly the practice of Gary G. Taylor, DDS, we have been a dedicated provider of family and cosmetic dentistry in Denton since establishment in 1984.
Our mission is to seamlessly bridge the gap between a storied history of service and a bright new chapter of modern patient care.

For more than four decades, Dr. Gary Taylor has served the Denton community with a simple philosophy: treat every patient like family. Since establishing the practice, he has built long-lasting friendships and cared for generations of families, earning the trust and respect of the community through genuine compassion and clinical excellence.
A Thoughtful Transition
As Dr. Taylor moved toward retirement, his top priority was ensuring his patients remained in the safe hands of a provider who shared his commitment to quality. He dedicated three years to finding a successor who matched his high standards.
Dr. Taylor is proud to transition his legacy to Dr. Nisha Bhattarai.

Meet Dr. Nisha Bhattarai
Dr. Nisha Bhattarai brings a wealth of knowledge and a gentle touch to Legacy Dental of Denton. She is a Dean’s List doctoral graduate from the Indiana University School of Dentistry and joins the practice with 10 years of clinical experience.
Dr. Bhattarai is passionate about providing thoughtful, high-quality care and building long-term relationships with her patients.
Outside of the office, she is a proud mother of two daughters and the owner of a very loved family dog. She deeply values family and strives to create a welcoming, family-oriented environment in the dental office, ensuring every patient feels at home.
